COMMunity Fair
Our next COMMunity Fair takes place at Bishopsgate Institute from 12noon to 3pm on Wednesday 9 June 2010. This is a great opportunity for the City's voluntary and community groups and charities to celebrate and explain what they do. Set up your own display or stall to showcase your work to other City organisations, public sector partners, and members of the public. Social enterprises and funders supporting groups in the City of London are also welcome to publicise their services and activities at this community networking event.

City of London Festival, 21 June – 9 July 2010
Why not encourage neighbours or others in your groups to go along to events? Watch out for music (including street pianos), visual arts, film, walks and talks, much of it free to the general public. Sustainability is one of the themes, with events about bees, beehives and honey. This year’s international connection is with Portuguese speaking communities from Portugal, Brazil, Angola and Mozambique.
Safer City
Does your organisation sign up to receive the City of London Police email? Each of the City’s 25 Wards has a Ward Constable and one or more Police Community Support Officers, which in turn belong to one of four areas: north, south, east and west.
Look up your local Safer Neighbourhood Team and sign up for the regular email.
