Free Events Management Training

City of London residents are eligible for Talk Action's series of free training courses for local residents, young people and those currently out of work.

Skills you will learn:

  • Planning an event
  • Publicity and marketing
  • Stage management
  • Licensing and legal stuff
  • Promotional film making

You will help to:

  • Plan a large Arts and Music festival in Islington
  • Select bands and performers to play
  • Programme art, dance and drumming workshops
  • Produce publicity for the festival.

Open workshops run from December 2011 to April 2012, with the festival taking place on Saturday 21 April 2012.

First workshops:

  • 12 December 2011, 6pm-7.30pm
  • 16 January 2012, 6pm-7.30pm.
