Heritage Lottery Fund - Repair Grants for Places of Worship

Grants range from £10,000 to £250,000 and provide funding for urgent, high-level repair work to listed places of worship.

The scheme is managed separately in each of the four countries of the UK.
Applications are dealt with in two competitive batches per financial year.  The closing dates for applications concerning particular listed grades of building project are as follows:

    * Places of worship listed grade 1, 11*, 11, A, B or C – 30 June
    * Places of worship listed grade 11 – 30 September

Applications are accepted from 1 April up to the closing date of each batch.  Any applications received after the closing date will not be assessed unless there is a fabric emergency which cannot be tackled without grant aid from the scheme.
