Learn how to involve the corporate sector in your community organisation

City Action Workshop for Community Organisations - Tuesday 26 July, 9.30-12.30. City location - venue to be confirmed.

The City Action team invites community partners to join them for a morning of exploration, knowledge sharing and networking on Tuesday 26 July.

The action packed session will include:

• Introducing City Action - who they are, what they do and how they can help you
• Feedback and learnings from their community consultation - the effects of spending cuts on the community sector
• A word on the corporate sector  
• Good practice sharing - managing corporate volunteers in a tough economic climate
• Translating your volunteering needs into an attractive corporate offer.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from your peers, improve your knowledge of corporate volunteering and enhance your organisation's position to access skilled support from City businesses.
