Local Development Framework - give your views
The City of London Corporation is drawing up a plan called the Local Development Framework (LDF). It comprises a number of documents that together set out the planning strategy for the City. These include the Core Strategy Development Plan Document (DPD), The Development Management DPD and Supplementary Planning Documents.
All comments on the Development Management DPD should be received by 30 September 2011.
The Department of Planning & Transportation consulted the public on the Core Strategy. This was considered by an independent planning inspector at a public examination held in March 2011. The inspector has issued his report and has found the Core Strategy to be sound. The Core Strategy will be adopted in autumn 2011.
They are now consulting on preparation of the Development Management DPD, as well as a number of Supplementary Planning Documents, and would like to hear your views.
The Development Management DPD will set out more detailed policies which will be used to decide planning applications. As the first stage of preparing this document they are seeking your views on the options for policies that should be included in it.
The Development Management DPD is supported by a Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report, which is also available for consultation.
