Plant a tree in National Tree Week!

Are you involved in a project with children or young people? Do you belong to a community garden or conservation project?

The Community Trees Fund is providing financial help to groups wishing to carry out tree planting projects during National Tree Week, 24 November - 5 December.

Eligible projects should cost £100-£700. 75% of costs may be paid, so grants will amount to no more than £525.

Recipients of grants will run projects that take place during National Tree Week. Grants are available to cover costs of trees, labour and costs to enable establishment.

The Tree Council is particularly concerned that the projects should actively engage children in the planting of trees. This could be formal groups such as cubs, guides, or youth clubs; alternatively it could be a community team assembled for the purpose of the project.
