These are grants to support faith-based community projects in tackling poverty and health inequalities in London.  This is a joint grant scheme between Church Urban Fund and London Catalyst.  Download more details and an application form.

WHO CAN APPLY?
    social action groups, voluntary and community organisations
    based in London
    with annual income of less than £150,000

FOR PROJECTS THAT CAN DEMONSTRATE:
    a significant link with a faith group

Youth Work Training at London Youth

We are now recruiting for the next Introduction to Youth Work training course
Tuesday 19th and Tuesday 26th June 2012 10-5pm
A two day, accredited course for people who work or volunteer with young people in youth work settings.

The aim of this course is to provide participants with the basic information, skills and knowledge that everyone working with young people should know. 

Subject areas to be covered:
■ What is Youth Work?
■ The Role of the Youth Worker
■ Building relationships with young people
■ Health and Safety
■ Child Protection
